Talk about a Fun Run!

I know there are a lot of races out there that take place in cool places (Vegas), in costume (Disney), or just in your local neighborhood (one of my favorite 5Ks). This one I hadn't ever heard of: The Color Run.

Basically, it's a 5K (where there is no time limit and walkers are welcome) and along the route, you get bombed with colored powder. You can stay on the outside edges of the course to get more color, and in the middle to get less. Bring yourself, a white t-shirt, and your ENELL sports bra (of course) and get ready for a healthy activity that is full of colorful people, and colorful powder. 

Upon completion of The Color Run, there is then some sort of color party free for all when you can spread color to others around you. Here's a video:

Seeing as I'm nursing an injury and am not sure how much longer I'll have to stay run or wog (walk/jog) free, this fun, walkers-encouraged event is now on my radar. It will be in 20 cities throughout the US.

As someone easily distracted by shiny objects, the only thing that seems better than this would be a glitter shower at the finish line.
