Your Fitness Philosophy

It seems many celebrities are focused on not just their latest trainers or diets, but they are practicing "fitness philosophies" that guide them in staying fit.

Kate Hudson's Fitness Philosophy:
Kate doesn't sweat the small stuff. For her, the secret to happiness is about putting family first, paying attention to the good, and ignoring the bad. "It's important to be conscious of your health and not indulge too much in the things that are bad for you. Do I mind having my appearance constantly scrutinized? I don't have enough time on this planet to worry about things like that. I'm more concerned with if I'm raising my son properly, with what makes my family happy, with what makes me happy," Kate has said. (source)
Beyonce's Fitness Philosophy:
"I can't eat what I want, and I can't not go to the gym," Beyoncé told Self. She also has the right outlook; she knows that there isn't a quick fix when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. "The truth is, it's a lot of sacrifice. It's more about your mental strength than physical strength. You have to push yourself. It doesn't matter what trainer you have. And it doesn't matter what program you're on. You have to be healthy and make the right choices," she said. (source)
It seems like these ladies have their priorities right when it comes to their fitness. Notice they aren't talking about doing specific exercises for a specific amount of time and eating only certain foods. These philosophies focus on the guiding principles of why fitness is important to them. Perhaps if we focused on solidifying our philosophies more, we would be more successful.

Do you have a fitness philosophy?

  1. In today's fast-paced world, people deal with stress on a daily basis. Between the pressures of work and family, life can often become quite overwhelming. Mental and physical demands may leave you feeling totally exhausted at the end of the day.
